A tiny introduction
A uro-what?
Uromastyx. Sun-loving, mostly herbivorous desert lizards with spiny tails, extraordinary colors, and a surprising amount of character.
They’re often called “uros.” Different species look wonderfully different, and their care is specialized. The tiny dinosaur resemblance is a bonus.

Hey, I’m Erik.
Reptile keeper, breeder, and the person who meant to take one quick video of lunch.
Keeping these animals came first. Learning how to photograph their scales, faces, and wonderfully strange behavior followed. Sharing those moments grew into Dino Dining.
I care a lot about husbandry, get happily lost in photography and editing, and have cats, games, and a life outside the lizard room too. Mostly, I want more people to see what keepers see.
